Dinner was almost finished and the crowd started to quiet down. The maid of honor stood up, microphone in hand. Kayla smiled as she began to tell her version of Tyler and Kelby’s love story. She shared memories of her and Kelby’s time in college, and Kelby’s dream to be a ranch wife. Everyone laughed when Kayla told about how Kelby was smitten from the first time she met Tyler. She ended her speech with sweet sentiments of how happy she was that they found love together.
And then John Henry stood up. You could tell by his toothy grin, that he had some fond memories of hell-raising to share. He laughed about all the good times he and Tyler had together. In all honesty, it was a little hard to understand what he was saying, because he was laughing so hard. But you could tell Tyler had no problem understanding him, by the way he smiled at his best friend.
One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is getting to see the interactions with the bride and groom, and their wedding party. And this wedding party definitely did not disappoint. Each person that stood beside them as they made their vows was there for them, 100%. They demonstrated exactly what a great friendship should be.
I could see the love you had for each other, from the first time that we Skyped. You’re both such amazing and hardworking people. You deserve your happily ever after.
Kelby, I’m so happy that you are officially a ranch wife! I can’t wait to see where your life together takes you.
Tyler, I know that you will make Kelby so happy in your life together. You bring her so much joy, and it make me happy to know she has that.
Thank you both for letting me be part of such a special time in your lives. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you two, and the wonderful people you are.
