Ali and Reid’s Montana Wildflower Wedding

Ali and Reid’s Montana Wildflower Wedding

One of the most fun ways to get to know a bride and groom better on the wedding day, is getting know the individuals they chose to be in their wedding party. The people Ali and Reid surrounded themselves with were a testament to how fun they are as a couple.

Whether it was spinning donuts in Reid’s old car (affectionately called the “murder-mobile”), or the way they seriously got down on the dance floor, nobody seemed to stop smiling and laughing the entire day.

After nearly a decade together, and after bringing a beautiful child into this world, many couples would have let the love and laughter fade. But the opposite is true for Ali and Reid. There wasn’t a moment while they were together, that they weren’t either kissing or laughing. You could tell that they are best friends. And it truly felt like this was the happiest day of their lives.

When things were running late according the timeline. When rainstorms threatened to ruin the ceremony. Many brides would have let that put a damper on the day. With the support of Reid and the rest of the bridal party, Ali remained calm and continued to laugh through the little bumps in the road. Even when it did start to rain during the ceremony, Ali still threw her arms around Reid’s neck and they shared more first kisses than I’ve ever seen any couple share before. A sense of Joy filled the air as they ran back into the barn to get out if the rain. They were finally Mr. and Mrs. Eliason!

Ali and Reid,

I can’t tell you how much I’ve come to love you since meeting you. You’re such wonderful people, inside and out. My cheeks hurt so bad when we left, because Reid just kept me and everyone else laughing!

And Ali, you’re one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I was touched how you treated everyone with kindness and respect.

I’ve told you both this before, but I’m so impressed by the love and commitment you both have for your daughter Izzy.

As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of little moments that often get overlooked throughout the day. When Izzy first got to Wildflower, Reid lifted her out of her car seat, and gave her the biggest hug and kiss before she went to get ready with all the big girls. And at the reception, Izzy fell asleep on the chairs. But when she woke up, you, Ali, took the time to get her a plate of Mac and cheese and make sure she woke up happy.

These moments stood out to me,  because on a day that’s all about you two, you didn’t forget your family and you didn’t forget your reasons for getting married. Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day. It’s one I’ll never forget.
